Ad Astra per Aspera

I am a 4th year PhD student at the University of New Hampshire. My research focuses on understanding small-scale solar turbulence in the solar wind. I am fascinated by the interconnected dynamics that shape our solar system.

I aspire to be a steward of the scientific community; a researcher that pushes boundaries of our understanding and an advocate who ensures that science serves the greater good. Beyond research, I am deeply passionate about science outreach and education and it is a lifelong goal of mine to make a positive impact on the world around me.

The curiosity and drive to discover that fuels my academic pursuits also inspires my great love of the outdoors. While there are countless wandering stars in our galaxy, I find endless wonder exploring this one --- our home, Earth.

From hiking alpine mountain trails, carving through fresh snow, and traveling to new horizons, I never cease to be amazed at the beauty of our extraordinary planet.

Highlighted Research Experience

Graduate Research Assistant                               2022 - Present

University of New Hampshire Department of Physics & Astronomy Space Science Center, Durham NH

I am a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of New Hampshire, working under Dr. Harlan Spence. My research focuses on characterizing small-scale turbulence in the solar wind and understanding how its behavior varies under different plasma conditions. Through a variety of spacecraft, I probe into ion and electron scale dissipation ranges of the solar wind at Earth, the interplanetary medium, and Mars.

Colorado Space Grant Consortium, Boulder CO

Undergraduate Research Assistant                         2019 - 2021

I served as the science team co-lead for the Student Thermal Energetic Activity Module (STEAM) student payload on the NASA/Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) PUNCH mission.
